Early Childhood Infrastructure · A Moinee Foundation Program
Our end-to-end model transforms under-resourced government Anganwadis into safe, solar-powered, digitally-enabled early-learning centres — delivered as one complete, standardised package that partners can bring to any district.
What we offer
The Smart Anganwadi Program is Moinee Foundation's turnkey approach to upgrading government Anganwadis. We take a centre from unsafe and under-equipped to a bright, digital, child-friendly learning space — handling civil works, water and sanitation, solar power, and learning design end-to-end. Every centre follows the same standard, serves roughly 200 children, and is built to keep running long after handover.
One partner, one scope — infrastructure, WASH, solar, and classroom design delivered together, not piecemeal.
A defined four-pillar package that delivers the same quality in every centre and scales cleanly across districts.
Solar power and durable fit-outs keep centres running through grid cuts, protecting the investment for years.
The need we address
Anganwadis are the backbone of India's Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) — yet across rural and border regions, thousands operate with gaps that hold back quality early learning. Our model is built to close all four at once.
Unsafe, worn-out structures unfit for young children.
Absence of proper toilets and clean WASH facilities.
Inconsistent electricity disrupting daily activities.
A lack of modern, age-appropriate teaching tools.
Our model closes every one of these gaps in a single, coordinated intervention.
What's included
Each Smart Anganwadi is delivered against the same four-pillar specification — so every child gets the same quality of space, safety, and learning, whichever district they're in.
Floor tiling and repairs, wall putty, vibrant painting, and secure doors and windows to create a safe, welcoming structure.
Toilet repairs and dedicated RO drinking-water stations to build healthy habits and protect children from waterborne illness.
A 32" smart TV for audio-visual learning, solar generation, and full rewiring with energy-efficient LED lights and ceiling fans.
Building-as-Learning-Aid wall art, soft flooring, child-sized furniture, storage, TLM kits, and age-appropriate toys.
Proven at scale
The model is field-tested, not theoretical — 65 Anganwadis delivered across three border and aspirational districts of Rajasthan.
What partners can expect
Every centre is designed to move the same set of outcomes for children and communities.
Colourful, well-equipped "model" centres attract more children and help retain them.
Functional toilets and RO water stations reduce hygiene-related illnesses.
Model-TV content gives rural children first-time exposure, easing the move to formal school.
Solar power keeps the upgrades running despite frequent grid power cuts.

Ways to partner
Whether you're a government body, a company, or a philanthropist, there's a clear way to put this model to work. Each transformed centre reaches roughly 200 children.
Work with district administrations and the Women & Child Development department to scale the model within the public system.
Fund centre transformations as a high-visibility, measurable CSR initiative with clear on-ground outcomes and reporting.
Individuals and foundations can adopt one or more Anganwadis and see exactly what their support builds.
Tell us where you work, and we'll shape a plan around it.
Partner with Moinee Foundation to bring the Smart Anganwadi Program to the children who need it most. Let's transform the next set of centres together.
